Training, Workshops, and Seminars

Formats for researchers and leaders at every career stage

Hands-on, grounded in academia, and tailored to you

Training & Workshops for Academia and Research

My workshops are for doctoral researchers, postdocs, and professors – and equally for everyone who designs programs for them: graduate academies and graduate schools, DFG Research Training Groups, staff development units, and German scholarship foundations (Begabtenförderungswerke). Whether as a single workshop or a recurring annual program for each new cohort, every format is tailored to your institution, your audience, and your timeframe, and can be booked in German or English.

The program is organized by career stage – from starting a PhD through the postdoc phase and professorship appointments to leadership and supervision, complemented by core skills relevant at every stage. That means the workshops cover career stages R1 through R4 of the European Framework for Research Careers (First Stage Researcher through Leading Researcher), the same framework graduate academies and staff development units use, for example under HRS4R.

Tailored to You – Finding the Right Format

Every format is tailored to your goals, your team, and your context. Whether a compact online workshop or an interactive in-person event – we design the optimal format together. Here's how we work:

  • Analysis – We clarify goals, audience, and context together
  • Planning – Content, methods, and materials are developed individually
  • Delivery – Interactive, hands-on, and grounded in academia
  • Feedback – A joint review to secure lasting transfer

For change that lasts beyond the workshop day, many formats can be extended with guided peer-coaching follow-up sessions – turning the first spark into a lasting work practice.
